After close to 3 years since the last Margaret River Day Tour, Swan River Seaplanes will once again showcase Western Australia’s premier wine region!

From October the 26^th 2022, Swan River Seaplanes is set to reintroduce a tour of Margaret River by seaplane, direct from Perth CBD with newly formed key partnerships.

Owner/Director, Dean Kingi said, “We are extremely excited to once again be venturing to the Southwest and promoting what I believe is the home of Australia’s best wines. The ability to reach Margaret River by seaplane in only 45 minutes, coupled with private touring of handpicked wineries is something we are looking forward to sharing with tourists. There was a fair amount of trial and error but we are certainly confident that our winery and experience selection will be pleasantly received.”

The new experience is titled A Taste of Margaret River and is a 5-and-a-half-hour tour departing Perth at 10am and touching down back on the Swan River at 3:30pm in the afternoon. The tour is designed for the time-poor tourist or local that wants a true “taste of Margaret River”

Swan River Seaplanes has partnered with heavyweight Margaret River winery, Aravina Estate where the tour group will enjoy private tastings along with a delicious chef select lunch accompanied by their famous wines!

It’s a great opportunity to showcase what the Southwest of Western Australia has on offer for their local, interstate, and international guests. We have put together a package which is a small taste of some of the best Margaret River wines paired with some favourite dishes from our a la carte restaurant”.

Along with Aravina Estate, the exclusive tour also calls in at the multi-award winning, boutique winery that is Windows Estate. Here the guests will enjoy a range of wine and cheese pairings whilst amongst the vines.

“As well as visiting one of the larger more established wineries, it is important to visit another authentic, ethically run winery that has strong sustainability virtues and a genuine passion for the surroundings”.

Guests will travel in style aboard a private Mercedes Viano with guided commentary, with the option of an upgrade to gain a whole new perspective and travel by helicopter from the seaplane to Aravina Estate*.

Pricing is set at $995 per adult, all inclusive.

Swan River Seaplanes will be operating flights from the Swan River to Busselton and Margaret River Airport departing from Perth at 10am and Busselton and Margaret River Airport at 3pm.
